It was a beautiful day when we arrived at the elegant Ballara Reception for lovely Autumn wedding. We were fortunate enough to play a role in many facets of their special day from the ceremony right through to their stunning sparkler send-off at the end of the night.

The Venue
Ballara reception is a stunning ceremony and reception venue with grounds set amongst the beautiful greenery of Eltham, Melbourne.
With a diverse range of locations on site for ceremonies, this lovely couple chose to have a gorgeous outdoor ceremony at the Gazebo before moving inside to the opulent ballroom for their reception.
The Music
The bride and groom organised for us to provide music for the ceremony as well as their reception. We supplied all equipment including a high-quality, battery powered speaker suitable for an outdoor ceremony, a wireless microphone for the celebrant, and managed all the music. We LOVE being involved in what is arguably the most important part of your big day, making sure all music cues are spot-on, as well as ensuring that everything can be heard (especially important for outdoor ceremonies)!
For the reception, we had our full DJ set up including lights ready to party! The newlyweds left it up to our experienced DJ to curate the music on the night to ensure that all the guests were up and dancing all night! Take a look below at some of their gorgeous music choices from their day.

Our amazing DJ and MC ensured that all ran according to schedule throughout the day and night, which was especially important given some of the fun additions included on their day.
Group dancing!! We had a great time organising a bush dance (complete with guided instructions from our multi-talented MC) for all the guests during the reception and everyone had an absolute ball! What a great way to bring something unique to your day and we have no doubt that all the guests will be talking about it for years to come! Check out our socials to see an example!
We also organised a couples quiz - what better way to start a marriage than by seeing which of your friends and family REALLY knows you best!
